At the intersection of human nature and technology lies our Tech Tapestry. It is both a celebration of technology and a warning about its darker side. Collectively, this work is an honest expression of our lives in the tech age.

Individual prints reference concepts related to human connection, technology addiction, artificial intelligence, robots, viruses, consumption, social media's potential for manipulation, a celebration of societal advances, worries about the youth's dependence on screens, satirical commentary, intrusive content, and overall thoughtful considerations of the negligible things we interact with daily.

The mural was created during a four-week artist residency that explored the possibilities of printmaking. During this time, Klaire and the students delved deeply into how we engage with technology, which included two days of discussions about tech, its advances, pitfalls, and how we navigate it as a society. Roughly 125 students created linoleum block prints, each an individual expression of tech in their life. Tech Tapestry is a soft mural created using linoleum block prints by ACPA students in collaboration with printmaker Klaire Smith.
