Linoleum Block Printing

Students learn the fundamentals of block carving and printing in an accessible way that is easily usable in a home or classroom practice. Safe handling of carving tools, effective inking, and print registration are all skills learned that are applicable in a variety of print and art mediums. Students leave with an understanding of basic relief printing as well as their own printing block and original prints.

Woodblock basics

A more advanced printmaking practice, woodblock printing is a centuries old technique this workshop would be ideal for a more experienced relief printer. Students will understand safe handling of carving tools as well as prepping a block for printing, and inking and printing tips.

Paper Painting

A workshop suitable for all ages! Paper painting is the process of using colored tissue papers to replicate the blending and subtleties of watercolor in a more collaboration friendly approach.
